ILLUSTRATION

I have many great loves, and visual storytelling may be the most important one. Since discovering that passion in late 2024, much of my time has been spent carefully bringing deeply personal places and experiences into a physically represented world for the first time. 

When asked how this came to be, I share with others that I have spent my life unknowingly forming a mental catalogue of earthly and emotional detail. I observe how things feel. This is what catalyzed to create my first significant artistic work during a trip far from home into the snow and the imagined future which followed me there. My personal style developed rapidly through the creative process of writing and illustrating that solo-produced picture book, 'When You're Young.' 

Moving forward from that experience, I continue to draw heavily from dreams, memory, and intimacy witnessed in the day to day - all the details which fall into the cracks between real things - to create the distinctive world I hope you'll soon recognize. I hope that viewers of any of my work will come away with a sense of hope, often irreverence, and always honesty.
